Bike and scooter bonus, when does the transfer arrive? The last step of the measurement

Having overcome the most difficult obstacle, that of the click day to obtain the bonus for bikes and scooters, now those who have managed to correctly submit the application await the transfer to their current account, as established in the legislation for the mobility bonus. When will this transfer arrive? Officially no information was given on the timing of arrival of the transfer, but the Minister of the Environment, Sergio Costa, immediately spoke of a few days and then, in an interview with Open, he assured that they will arrive within 10 days.

Considering that the click day was last November 3rd, repayments are likely to arrive in beneficiaries’ current accounts on November 13, so by the end of next week. Obviously, all the doubts of the case must be placed on a measure launched in May and which went through several obstacles before arriving at this infamous click day which proved to be particularly complicated.

Meanwhile, the allocated funds, 215 million euros, are exhausted even if the same Costa has assured that new funds are on the way to reimburse all those who have a talking invoice or receipt as of November 2. Costa has, in fact, anticipated to Open that he wants to reactivate the portal from 9 November to 9 December. Those who have already purchased the bike or scooter (strictly from 4 May to 3 November 2020), can upload their personal data, including the invoice or the speaking receipt, to obtain a refund.

There are two types of mobility bonuses: the first recognizes 60% (up to 500 euros) to those who have purchased bikes, scooters and other facilitated means of transport, between May 4th and November 2nd. The other plans to ask for a voucher for future purchases to be spent after registering on the Ministry of the Environment app. The bonus can be spent on suppliers of goods and services included in the list of accredited operators within 30 days.

For the mobility bonus, the numbers were very high: almost 600,000 vouchers were issued, with an average of 4,500 clicks per minute. Of the 215 million made available by the Ministry, 99 million were spent in refunds and 116 million in vouchers.
