“Biggest test operation to date”: residents of all of London …

The British capital London is currently experiencing a mini-outbreak of the South African variant. In parts of the city, everyone is asked to undergo a preventive PCR test. The British are terrified of dangerous imports.

In the capital London, more than seventy people are now in quarantine after being infected with the South African variant. Especially in the south of the city there is a mini outbreak. The British are not taking half measures and in the London boroughs of Wandsworth and Lambeth ask everyone over 11 years of age to take a preventive PCR test. It is the “biggest test operation to date” to suppress a variant.

“It is important that everyone contributes. PCR tests are now available and I would like to ask anyone who lives, works or travels in the areas to test themselves, even without symptoms, ”said NHS Test and Trace chief Susan Hopkins.
