Dr. Sophon reveals the case of the Big Bike group At a party in Koh Lanta, 19 cases of COVID-19 were found scattered in Krabi – Phuket – Songkhla – Bangkok.
On December 26, 2020, Dr. Sophon Iamsirithaworn Director of the Division of General Communicable Diseases and Acting Deputy Director-General, Department of Disease Control Discussed the situation in which a big bike driver was infected with COVID in Krabi Province on Dec. 11-12, said that the beginning of a 45-year-old man from Samut Sakhon province was infected with COVID-19. Riding on a big bike to a party at Koh Lanta District, Krabi Province, an investigation of disease has found a link with the transmission of COVID-19. 19 cases were found in 4 provinces: Krabi, Phuket, Songkhla and Bangkok, all of which have been taken care of according to disease control measures. The group found themselves traveling to a party in Krabi to be tested immediately.
