Biesur: Reopening of the Venezuela-Brazil border a positive impact on the region’s economy

Santa Elena de Uairén.- The South-East Business Integration Block (BIESUR) accompanied the governor of Bolívar state, Ángel Marcano, to Santa Elena de Uairén, municipality of Gran Sabana, for the reopening of the border crossing that connects Venezuela with Brazil, which It has been closed since March 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic.

This initiative of the National and Regional Government represents a great achievement in the promotion and reactivation of the economy, since the activity of the commercial exchange with the North of Brazil will be normalized, especially with food products.

Given this, BIESUR ​​endorses and supports this decision of the National Executive; Likewise, it expresses its willingness to participate, complement and work in the intensification, together with Brazilian businessmen, the Brazilian Chambers of Commerce and the Venezuela-Brazil Binational Chamber, in commercial activities.

South Summit 2022

This March 31 in Guasipati, Roscio municipality, the Cumbre del Sur 2022 event will take place – El Sur Renace en Bolívar, which is being organized by the Government, the Mayor’s Office of Roscio and BIESUR ​​and where the Incentive Plan for Investors.

In this sense, it is of great scope and value that all the sectors and mayors of the south of Bolívar state participate; In the same way, the invitation to Brazilian businessmen and other allied countries was understood.
