Biden Opens Up About World War 3 Opportunities and Russian Chemical Weapons in Ukraine

WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – President United States of America (AS) Joe Biden on Friday (11/3/2022) commented on the opportunities World War 3 and accusations of Russia using chemical weapons in the Ukrainian war.

Biden vowed Russia would suffer huge consequences if it used chemical weapons in Ukraine, and promised not to provoke Moscow into World War 3.

Biden reacted after Russia accused Ukraine and the United States of developing biological and chemical weapons – which Western countries say is a ruse because Russia itself might use those weapons in conflict.

“I’m not going to talk about intelligence, but Russia will pay a heavy price if they use chemicals,” Biden said as he announced a new set of sanctions against Moscow. AFP.

At the request of Russia, the UN Security Council held an emergency meeting on Friday (11/3/2022) on the alleged manufacture of biological weapons in Ukraine.

Biden that day also ended normal trade relations with Russia, further increasing pressure on President Vladimir Putin after Russian invasion to Ukraine.

Meanwhile the United States, like other Western countries, is sending millions of dollars worth of weapons such as anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles to Ukraine, as well as sharing intelligence.

However, Biden once again stressed that US troops would not fight in Ukraine, despite the deep pleas of many Ukrainians.

“We are not going to war against Russia in Ukraine. A direct confrontation between NATO and Russia is World War III, something we must prevent,” Biden said.

In 2018, Russia accused the United States of secretly conducting biological weapons experiments in a laboratory in Georgia, another former Soviet republic, which like Ukraine has ambitions to join NATO and the European Union.
