State Fund “Agriculture” (DFZ) paid BGN 5.6 million (BGN 5,632,510) underneath the agroecological intervention “Conservation of native indigenous breedsessential for agriculture” (OMP) for Marketing campaign 2023. The transferred funds are distributed amongst 400 farmers who maintain preserving the genetic variety of the outdated native Bulgarian animal breeds. The assist is a part of the interventions within the subject of the setting and humane remedy of animals, included within the Strategic Plan for the event of agriculture and rural areas for the interval 2023 – 2027. The scheme is a continuation of the identical route from measure 10 “Agroecology and local weather” of the RDP 2014-2020.
The charges at which subsidies are paid for the safety of native autochthonous breeds are listed in Artwork. 32, para. 6 in Ordinance No. 10 of June 27, 2023. They’re as follows:

- for breeds of home animals – as much as the BGN equal of 150.32 euros/animal;

- for horse breeds – as much as the BGN equal of 143.80 euros/horse.
