Beyoncé Announces New Country Album ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’ Set to Release on March 29 – Breaking Records and Making History

The American singer Beyoncé announced this Tuesday on social networks that the album with which she ventures into country music will be called ‘Act II: Cowboy Carter’, and will be published on March 29.

The project is the long-awaited “second act” of her album ‘Renaissance’ released in 2022. So far, the 42-year-old pop star has presented the songs ’16 Carriages’ and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ in advance of the final premiere of the disk.

These singles have already given her her first successes, since with ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’, the native of Houston (Texas) became the first black woman to lead the US Billboard Hot 100 chart with a country song.

Beyoncé’s Instagram announcement is accompanied by an image of a saddle with a blue, white and red band – the colors of Texas – that has ‘Country Carter’ embroidered on it.

The Texan had announced that she would have a new album since last February 12 when she took advantage of a Super Bowl advertising space to shock her followers.

The singer’s ‘Act II’ comes after having carried out her ‘Renaissance’ tour with which she raised nearly 600 million dollars, and after releasing the documentary ‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’, which showed the most important parts of their journey on tour.

Furthermore, thanks to her album ‘Renaissance’, in 2023 Beyoncé broke the record as the artist with the most Grammys in history by accumulating 32 throughout her career.
