  • Previous history of leukemia in a family member, but this is considered rare

Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and this disease caused the death of approximately 10 million people in 2020, which equates to approximately one death in every 6 deaths, according to the official website of the World Health Organization (WHO).
