Rostock. Exercise is important for our health. Whether it’s intensive strength training or endurance runs on the treadmill, the options are diverse. The readers of the OSTSEE-ZEITUNG decided where the best place to stay fit in Rostock was – and chose the best fitness studio. We present the first three places in more detail.

The newly renovated Fit X in Rostock’s Südstadt secured first place with 23.7 percent of the votes. Studio manager Toni Friedrich was pleased with the result: “It confirms the position we have in Rostock.” The fitness studio opened in April 2017 and since then around 10,000 members have had the opportunity to train there around the clock, 365 days a year.
Friedrich is proud of what he and his 30 employees offer. There is something for everyone in the different training areas. There are also various courses, training plan creation and a drinks station. This all-inclusive membership costs 24 euros.

Clever Fit comes in second place
With 19.2 percent, Clever Fit Rostock-Mitte took second place. In addition to a selection of equipment and courses, the creation of training plans, the fitness studio also offers a wellness program. These include the solarium and massage tables. “We do everything ourselves,” said studio manager Fanny Pahnke. The 15 employees take care of the customers.

“We are smarter,” said area manager Frank Schult about the reasons for the positive feedback from customers. In addition, you are close to the members and create a family atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable. The members come from all age groups. The group of 20 to 40 year olds is most represented.
Third place for Sports Club in the KTC
The Sports Club Rostock has only existed since April 2022. The fitness studio in the Kröpeliner-Tor-Center achieved third place with 12.7 percent. “We appreciate the support of our members,” said studio manager Nadine Ellensohn. The triad of training, humanity and relaxation is what defines the studio.

A special feature of the fitness studio is the e-gym circuit. The digital trainer in the sports equipment analyzes training behavior and works like a personal trainer. It specifies when weights should be increased and how progress can be achieved. There is also normal equipment, courses and a sauna area for the 4,200 members. The subscription costs 29.90 euros per month.
