In Bern in the Bümpitz district, the power went out on Saturday evening around 10 p.m. The problems with the power supply were resolved after around an hour.
The control center of Energie Wasser Bern (EWB) announced this on Sunday night. The cause of the power failure was a cable defect, it said. By switching in the network, however, the power supply could be restored for all customers affected by the disruption by around 11 p.m., EWB said.
