Berlin does not want to tighten it for the time being

BerlinBavaria is imposing curfews, Saxony is questioning the easing for Christmas, Saarland wants tougher restrictions for New Year’s Eve, and the Federal Chancellery is warning on principle. The corona numbers continue to rise nationwide, or they remain at a high level. Now, according to the wishes of many politicians from different federal states, the heads of government should again talk to the Chancellor about stricter measures in the next week. A date for this prime ministerial conference has already been mentioned: December 15.

But this date is by no means certain. For example, Berlin and Brandenburg are trying to evade the pressure. The two cabinets will meet independently on Tuesday. Of course, both wanted – how could it be otherwise – also talk about Corona. But at least there is no immediate tightening in the region.
