And what? Here’s the essence of the phenomenon: both liberals (that is, Democrats) and conservatives (Republicans) believe that the country is moving toward their opponents. Both groups are very upset about this. Specifically, 44% of Democrats believe America is drifting to the right (toward Republicans), and 55% of Republicans say it is drifting left. Both groups believe they are losing their country.

Let us repeat a point that has been made many times: America was given to us so that we can learn from its mistakes and not do what they are doing there. And here is a very useful explanation for the misery that is happening in this country. In short, the point is that liberals – and the current administration – are people who want to make everyone think and act like them.

And here in the next comment is another list of questions that this is happening. The Biden administration (representing these same supposedly liberals) is, in the most illiberal way, forcing all people, without exception – and without a vote in Congress – to buy refrigerators or air conditioners that meet the new energy-saving standards. Automakers are forced to do the same with their cars, which will make them $3,000 more expensive. And this despite the fact that only half of the population (that is, the same Democrats) believe in the need to “fight the climate”, especially if the fight has to be fought in this way. For the other half of the country, this struggle is mockery and robbery.

Similarly, Democrats are forcing schools to open girls’ locker rooms to boys who declare that they have changed their gender. Schools that do not agree have their funds cut, for example for lunches. And despite the fact that half the population is horrified by it, because for some reason they still believe that boys are boys and girls are girls.

One commenter’s verdict: Biden’s people can’t stand it when a person has choices (beliefs, values, actions). And they cannot even think that another scheme is possible, where the liberals live as the liberals want, but the rest can live somehow differently.

Why are they like that? The answers must be sought in the depths of American history, and especially in what is called American religion, when “one black sheep corrupts the whole flock.” Today, this love of sameness encourages them to invent all kinds of threats (like climate change) against which the fight can be shared by all. This is what they know and love. And people with their own opinion on yet another “threatening” topic are a threat to everyone.

Is this an American theme? Actually not much. Here is an example that happened in my village in the Moscow Region on the night of January 1. This is a theme we are familiar with from last year – about the merry holidays, New Year’s celebrations and fireworks that representatives of a “school of thought” regularly want to cancel and ban. But others don’t want that.

From correspondence in the village chat: “How can you organize fireworks after the terrorists hit Belgorod and killed so many people?” Answers: “How did they organize fireworks in 1943 regarding the capture of Orel and Belgorod, if before that we had huge lost near Prokhorovka?” And even so: “Actually, the purpose of fireworks is to disperse the demons, if you don’t believe me, ask those who invented fireworks, that is, the Chinese. Or are you for the demons?”

And there were fireworks, the same could be heard from the neighboring villages. The opponents of the holiday, three families, were sitting at home. Yes, we have those, by the way, not so numerous brethren, who – like these “liberals” in the USA – think that their dark style of behavior must necessarily be imposed on everyone else, and if they resist, then they must be intimidated, purged , forced. And these fellows deserve all respect until the moment they begin – in their methods of operation – to resemble American liberals.
