The Municipality of Berazategui, through the Ministry of Labor, launched a new edition of its solidarity campaign “Let’s be Useful”, with the aim of accompanying the start of classes for primary school students in situations of social vulnerability.
The campaign also reaches out to those adults who attend municipal literacy centers and do not have the necessary resources.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Municipality of Berazategui carries out this initiative, which consists of convening local companies, businesses, institutions and neighbors to donate school supplies and fabrics to assemble kits and make pencil cases for students in vulnerable situations. The main objective of this solidarity campaign launched in 2018 is to help those who need it most, so that they do not abandon their studies.
All those neighbors, entrepreneurs, merchants and businessmen who wish to join and collaborate with the donation of school supplies, can call 4356-9200 (Extension 1191), Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Later, a group of entrepreneurs will make the cartridge belts, while members of the Berazategui Volunteer (VolBer) will be in charge of assembling the kits, which will finally be delivered in public primary schools and in the Municipal Literacy Program.
