Midfielder loaned for a season to the Greeks, who have a purchase option for €4m

This Sunday, Benfica confirmed the loan for a season of midfielder Meité to Greek side PAOK, who have an option to buy the pass for 4 million euros.
“Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that it has reached an agreement with PAOK, from Greece, for the temporary loan, for one season, of the footballer Meité.
Hired in July 2021, the midfielder made 27 appearances for Benfica in the 2021/22 season. In the following season (2022/23) Meité represented Cremonese, from Italy, as a loanee, and totaled 35 presences”, wrote the reds in a note published on the website.
