For non-fiction: Maurizio Bettini con Who is afraid of the Greeks and Romans (Einaudi), Umberto Galimberti con The ethics of the traveler (Feltrinelli), Massimo Teodori con Anti-totalitarians of Italy (Rubbettino). For journalistic literature: Giorgio Zanchini con Do Italians exist? (Rai Books), Cecilia Sala con The fire (Mondadori), Luciana Borsatti con Iran, the time of women (Castelvecchi).
The word now passes to the 52 popular juries of the Award (many schools from Abruzzo, but also from Macerata, Carpi, Biella, Pisa, Boiano, Ischia, Rionero in Vulture, Candela; two penitentiaries, Sulmona and Pescara; three universities of the third age , Popoli, Lanciano and Sulmona; the associations of Pescasseroli, Turin, Soriano Calabro, Difesa di Calabria, Castellane, in France) who have two months to issue a verdict on their choices.
The final assembly of the popular juries will be held at the municipal theater of Popoli Terme (Pescara) on May 24th. The final event in Pescasseroli is scheduled for 25, 26 and 27 July. Among the events scheduled during the Pescasserole days, in addition to the award ceremony for the winners, the recognition dedicated to the memory of the linguist Luca Serianni and the memory award to Jacques Delors“builder of the new united Europe”.
