In tests used a prototype laptop on the flagship Core i7-1185G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. This device was compared to the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 laptop powered by AMD Ryzen 7 4800U and the previous generation Razer Blade Stealth 13 laptop powered by the previous generation Core i7-1065G7.
The laptop with the Core i7-1185G7 was reportedly 38% faster than the Ryzen 7 4800U in single threaded mode. Intel didn’t win in multi-threaded tests.
In terms of gaming performance tests, the Core i7-1185G7, or rather the graphics in it, was 30-40% better than the model with an AMD processor.
