Belmont-de-la-Loire uses cycling event to appeal for a doctor

This Wednesday, on the occasion of the time trial of the Critérium du Dauphiné which arrived in Belmont-de-la-Loire, viewers were able to discover the somewhat special announcement made by the Loire town.

At the local football stadiumone could read the inscription “All we need is a doctor”. Words that have been filmed from the air by helicopter and broadcast around the world!

Belmont has decided to take advantage of this spring’s cycling event to try to attract a practitioner to the town. The last practitioner died in 2017 without being replaced since, according to Le Progrès.
