Deep concern in Moscow

In Moscow, the Kremlin on Tuesday expressed its “deep concern” on the second day of an armed group’s incursion into Russian territory from Ukraine.

He called on the Kremlin to make “more efforts” to counter these attacks, which are intensifying and expanding.

“What happened yesterday causes deep concern and once again shows that Ukrainian militants continue their activities against our country,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

And he added, “This requires us to make more efforts, and these efforts are continuing and the special military operation in Ukraine is continuing so that this does not happen anymore.”

Regarding the Ukrainian sabotage group in the Belgorod region, Peskov said, “The special military operation is continuing to prevent this from happening again.”

And about the participation of people of Russian nationality in the ranks of the sabotage group that attacked Belgorod district, he said: “We must proceed from the fact that they are all armed Ukrainians.”

He also said that Western countries, by supplying weapons to Ukraine, are increasingly involved in the conflict, adding that the West’s supply of weapons to Kiev, including F-6s, “cannot fundamentally change the situation.”

It is worth noting that in Moscow a Russian investigative committee was formed to identify the attackers on residential areas in the Belgorod region.
