Belgium and the Netherlands won major victories in continuation World Cup qualification 2022. The following 2022 World Cup Qualifying results in full.
From Group A, Portugal back to winning ways after being held to a draw by Serbia in the previous match. Facing Luxembourg at the Stade Josy Barthel, Wednesday (31/3/2021), Portugal won 3-1.
Portugal had left behind first after Rodrigues scored a goal in the 30th minute. Portugal then turned things around through goals from Diogo Jota, Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Palhinha.
This victory places Portugal at the top of Group A with seven points from three matches. Serbia followed behind him by the same number of points, only losing on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Belgium recorded a landslide victory over Belarus in continued World Cup qualification 2022. Entertaining Belarus at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion, Belgium silencing their guests with a score of 8-0.
Thanks to that victory, Belgium top Group E with seven points from three matches. They are three points ahead of the Czech Republic who are in second place.
Victory with a large score was also achieved Netherlands in Group G. Oranje won seven goals without reply at Gibraltar headquarters.
Still from Group G, Turkey’s perfect pace stopped. After winning the first two matches, Turkey was stuck on the third matchday after a 3-3 draw with Latvia.
However, Turkey still occupies the top position of Group G standings with seven points from three matches. The Netherlands follow in second with six points.
