The 10-year-old cleaning company Globo Clean has bought a building in Genk to house its offices and warehouse. In the meantime, the children of manager Tiziana D’Onfrio have also had a taste for the department!
Globo Clean was started 10 years ago by Tiziana D’Onofrio, who, after a long career with the Belgian Army and the City of Beringen, started a cleaning company from scratch. “I did a small build first, until I already had a permanent base, and then I started building a business network very intensively,” she says. “I am convinced that you can set up a business and expand by making the right contacts. The more people you know, the faster the order book will grow.”
Globo Clean is the best proof of this. There are almost 50 people working there now, doing large and small cleaning jobs. “Our great strength is that we serve every customer with the same care,” Tiziana explains. “Whether it concerns a large company where we have to clean every day, or a small company where we have to clean for an hour every 14 days: it doesn’t matter to us. Methodology is highly valued.”
The manager Tiziana is now reinforced by her two children to manage the company. Both Maurizio and Rosetta Vandendries have been around for a while. This ensures long-term continuity.
The company’s growth has also forced Globo Clean to move to a larger location. “We were able to buy the Drukkerij Cornelissen building on Evence Coppéelaan,” said Tiziana D’Onofrio. “Very good, because we have a lot more space there for offices and warehouse. The renovation will start soon, so that we can officially move in October. the building itself after 10 years.
