Become the fastest player, Darwin Nunez breaks the English Premier League record!

Nunez surpassed the record time previously held by Man City winger Kyle Walker.

Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez managed to break the record for the fastest player in the history of the English Premier League.

Most recently, Nunez managed to get Liverpool to beat West Ham United in week 12 at Anfield on Thursday (20/10).

The Uruguayan scored the Reds’ winning goal in the 22nd minute with a header that continued on a cross from Kostas Tsimikas.

Additionally, Nunez has successfully set a Premier League record as the fastest player by recording a top speed of 23.61 miles (37.99 km) per hour.

The 23-year-old broke the previous record set by Man City left-back Kyle Walker, which reached 23.48 miles (37.78 km) per hour in June 2020.

Last season, Nunez first listed himself as the second fastest player in the Champions League when he was still at Benfica.

The £ 85 million Liverpool signature reached a top speed of 22.68 miles (36.49 km) per hour. He is still behind Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé, who hit 22.8 miles (36.69 km) per hour against Real Madrid.
