“BCCI’s eco-friendly move: 500 trees to be planted for every dot ball in IPL playoffs”

The playoffs of IPL 2023 have begun. Gujarat Titans are facing Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier match.

In the match, Titans captain Dhoni and his team were sent to bat after winning the toss.

From the very first over of the match, the fans noticed one thing. These were green trees that flashed every time the dot ball was thrown.

At first neither the spectators nor the fans could understand what was happening. Fans said it was distracting from the game and very annoying.

But only when the commentators describe what happened, the importance of this becomes clear. BCCI has decided to plant 500 saplings for every dot ball bowled in the playoffs.

That means thousands of trees will be planted at the end of every competition.

Applause is rising in this decision of the cricket board.

Meanwhile, at the end of the Powerplay, Chennai scored 49 runs without losing any wicket. Gaikwad with 33 runs from 26 balls and Conway with 14 runs from 11 balls are at the crease.

Gaekwad was given a life when his personal score stood at two. Gill was caught by Darshan Parpande and got out. But the Titans’ celebration was beaten and the umpire called no ball and the player got life.
