Beritamu.co.id- PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (IDX:BBNI) will soon receive additional tier I capital worth USD600 million. The reason is, state-owned bank issuers have completed bidding and pricing plans for the issuance of BNI Additional Tier I Perpetual Non-Cumulative Capital Securities or AT-T Capital Securities worth USD600 million with a yield of 4.3 percent.
The Corporate Secretary of BBNI, Mucharom in his official statement, Friday (17/9/2021) wrote that the proceeds from the issuance of the AT-1 capital securities will be used to increase the bank’s additional core capital.
Furthermore, the additional capital is used to strengthen capital, increase financing and to strengthen the composition of the long-term structure.
“The planned issuance of AT-1 capital securities will have a positive impact on the company’s financial condition,” he wrote.
It was explained that the issuance of AT-1 Capital Securities was in line with the requirements of the OJK regulations regarding commercial banks’ drinking capital. It is planned that the issuance of AT-1 capital securities will be completed on September 24 or no later than October 8, 2021.
