BBC Sport live broadcast disrupted by loud moans | Media

A live broadcast of BBC Sport was disturbed by loud moans on Tuesday night. Supposedly a YouTube comedian taped a cell phone to the back of a TV set and then put on a video.

During the broadcast, presenter Gary Lineker, including ex-football players Alan Shearer and Danny Murphy, looked ahead to the English cup match between Wolverhampton and Liverpool. That analysis was suddenly interrupted by what looked like sex noises.

Lineker seemed visibly uncomfortable but at the same time tried to continue the broadcast. “I have no idea who makes that noise,” he laughs in conversation with Shearer, who was on site at the stadium. “Alan, it’s warm in the studio, and a bit noisy. I don’t know if someone is sending something over the phone or if it’s a joke. I don’t know if you heard it at home either.”

Lineker later tweeted that someone sabotaged the broadcast. YouTuber Daniel Jarvis has claimed the prank. The broadcaster has apologized for the incident.
