The soccer players of FC Bayern Munich rush from victory to victory in the women’s Bundesliga.
The team of coach Jens Scheuer prevailed 6-0 (2-0) against the bottom group MSV Duisburg and celebrated the 17th success in the 17th game. Lina Magull gave Munich the lead in the 18th minute with a penalty, Linda Dallmann increased to 2-0 shortly afterwards (28th). After further hits from Viviane Asseyi (56th, penalty) and Lea Schüller (61st), the game was decided. A double strike from Amanda Ilestedt (86th) and Simone Laudehr (88th) ended the game.
With 51 points and a goal difference of 68: 3, the Bayern women lead the table confidently, the lead over second-placed VfL Wolfsburg is still five points. The champions and cup winners won 3-1 (2-0) away at SC Sand.
In the battle for third place in the Champions League qualification, TSG Hoffenheim lost to SGS Essen 0: 1 (0: 0). Because fourth in the table, Turbine Potsdam, also lost 1-0 (0-0) at SC Freiburg, the Kraichgauerinnen are still five points ahead of Potsdam.
SV Meppen defeated Werder Bremen 3: 2 (2: 0) and pushed past Sand to non-relegation place ten. At the start of the match day on Friday evening, Bayer Leverkusen turned a 1: 2 half-time deficit against Eintracht Frankfurt into a 3: 2 win.
