Bayern Munich has signed 27-year-old midfielder Marcel Sabitzer.
The Bavarian team will pay RB Leipzig 16 million Euros for the Austrian player.
Bayern Munich Chairman Oliver Kahn stated that Sabitzer has everything that a football player to play in Bayern Munich needs, and noted that it will not take long for the 27-year-old player to get used to the team as he knows the philosophy of coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Stating that he is happy to play in Bayern Munich, midfielder Sabitzer expressed that he wants to win the championship with this team.
Playing for Rapid Wien in Austria in the 2013-2014 season, Sabitzer transferred to Leipzig in 2014.
In 145 games in the Bundesliga, Sabitzer scored 32 goals and made 27 assists.
Bayern Munich signed 3 players with Sabitzer this summer. The Red-White club, which paid 42 million 500 thousand euros to RB Leipzig for Dayot Upamecano, added Omar Richards from Championship team Reading to its free roster.
