Baudet wants to split up Forum, an estate division | Inland

Baudet wants the finances to be divided. He thinks the name Forum for Democracy should go to him. The members must decide who to join.

Events at Forum followed at a dizzying pace on Wednesday. There are roughly two camps. Baudet, Freek Jansen, Paul Cliteur and treasurer Olaf Ephraïm on the one hand. In the other camp there are at least three board members, Annabel Nanninga, a growing number of senators, the FvD’ers from the European Parliament and provincial leaders. FvD celebrities Joost Eerdmans and Eva Vlaardingerbroek have also joined them.

The latest news is that senator and number three on the candidate list Nicky Pouw-Verweij has opened a booklet about a party meeting last Friday. She did this by sending a letter to the party board. De Telegraaf managed to get its hands on that.

In the urgent letter Pouw-Verweij tells about the FvD dinner at which the campaign was discussed. According to the senator, Baudet made shocking statements about anti-Semitism, corona and the IQ of Forum members.

“It is very unfortunate what has happened recently,” says Baudet in the morning program Goedemorgen Nederland of WNL. “I ended up in a kind of underhanded situation. Let’s just split up, a division of property ”, he suggests.

Baudet does not explicitly deny that he made remarkable statements at the FvD dinner. “I remember the evening completely differently,” he says. According to Baudet, Olaf Ephraïm, the Forum’s treasurer and also present at the meeting, will give a completely different lecture than Nicky Pouw Verweij.

Pouw-Verweij has now received backing from two other prominent FvD’ers. These are Joost Eerdmans and Eva Vlaardingerbroek. They were also present at the dinner and say that Pouw’s story is correct. “I endorse Nicky’s experience,” says Vlaardingerbroek. “It was a bad evening.
