DICE has been given an extra year to develop Battlefield 6, which is aimed exclusively at the next generation. Focusing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC will most likely allow developers to design the shooter very freely. The latest leak makes it clear that the Swedes can go crazy.

In April, DICE announced the end of support for Battlefield 5, deciding to fully focus on the new part. The news did not appeal to players who despite initial studio critiquethen they were ready pay for new additions – although all content was previously available for free.
The developers, however, did not yield to the pressure of the shooter and did not change their plans. The Battlefield 6 stage is underway. The game will be available next year, while Electronic Arts has confirmed that it is developed exclusively for the next generation.
The new generation brings new opportunities that creators can make the most of, ensuring a great war. According to the latest leaks – DICE designs locations for at least 128 players. Probably the Swedes will also provide smaller duels (32 vs 32), although Battlefield 6 can significantly increase the number of troops on a single server.
Let us remind you that in Battlefield 5 we can take part in battles for a maximum of 64 players, so if Battlefield 6 offers at least 128-person clashes, we can talk about a great expansion of the game. The informant (Tom Henderson) noted, however, that 32 vs 32 will remain the main mode.
However, the described change should not surprise anyone. Finally, Call of Duty: Warzone on the current generation allows you to fight 200 players on one server.
