Nothing seems to be able to stop Trégueux BCA in these 2021-2022 play-offs. After Bordeaux, it is the turn of the Basques of Anglet to have suffered the lightning of the Trégueusiennes (73-60). Maël Widart, the coach, only retains the positive: “We had a really good match that we had prepared well”. Sure of themselves, the Trégueusiennes left Anglet no chance and dominated the entire game. “There was a weapon that we agreed to give them: the mobility of their internal game, details the young Belgian coach. On the other hand, we did not accept other baskets elsewhere and it worked well. It’s up to us to reproduce that on the way back.”
good pressure
With the four teams tied on points (six each), the return match in Anglet is important for the climb. The risk of seeing a form of pressure appear on the Tregueusian group? The playmaker, Camille Legris, does not believe it. “It’s just a bonus and it’s mostly good pressure, positive pressure,” she smiles. A victory against Anglet and it’s an almost guaranteed climb, while a defeat will not bury the hopes of Tregueusien. “If we had lost the two home games, it was already over. But with these two victories, it makes you want to go even further,” emphasizes Camille Legris. Appetite comes with winning and it seems the TBCA is not yet satisfied!
