The Toronto Raptors scored their first success of the 2021-2022 season in the NBA. After the loss conceded at home against the Washington Wizards, they went to beat the Boston Celtics on the night of Friday, October 22 to Saturday, October 23, on their floor at TD Garden.
It was with a large score of 115 to 83 that the Toronto Raptors defeated the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference. After a draw of (23-23) in the first quarter, the Toronto franchise was dominant in the others. She won in the second, third and fourth quarters respectively on scores of (28 – 24), (33 – 17) and (31 – 19).
Nigerian Precious Achiuwa played an active part in the Toronto Raptors’ victory. The 22-year-old former Miami Heat member is 15 points and 15 rebounds. As for Cameroonian Pascal Siakam, he could not participate in the victory of his team, for reasons of injury.
The Boston Celtics, 17 times NBA champions, suffered their second loss in a row. On the night of Wednesday 20 to Thursday 21 October, they lost their first game of the season against the New York Knicks, by the score of 138 to 134.
