Marrakech was named one of the most popular destinations in 2021. The ocher city occupies 13th place in the world, far ahead of Florence (18ᵉ), Lisbon (21 ou) or New York (22 et) and Santorini (23ᵉ), according to the specialized site TripAdvisor .
–According to Daily Mail, Marrakech is preceded by the Greek island of Crete (7ᵉ), Barcelona (9ᵉ) and Istanbul (10ᵉ). The Indonesian island of Bali was elected as the most popular tourist destination in the world for the year 2021. It downgrades London, which appears in 2nd place just ahead of Dubai, Rome and Paris.
TripAdvisor spokesperson Haley Colemann says these destinations are popular with travelers who “want to visit them next – whether it’s an existing tourist gem or a spot off the radar not yet firmly on the map. for international travelers ”.
