Inter Miami are reportedly interested in signing Luis Suarez this summer.
The 33-year-old striker has a contract until June 2021 at Barcelona, which could be automatically extended if he plays a certain number of games next season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Inter Miami, who are owned by David Beckham, have already made an offer to sign Suarez.
The Uruguayan intends to fulfil his contract at the Camp Nou, but he’s often been linked with a move to MLS.
“Luis wants to come to MLS,” said Suarez‘s compatriot Nicolas Lodeiro, who plays for Seattle Sounders.
“He likes the league. He’s always asking me about it.
“Let’s hope he can play here for Seattle Sounders too. It could be a more difficult talk.
“I think it’s only a matter of time before he’s here.”
Suarez would instantly become the main talisman at Inter Miami, who are playing in MLS for the first time this year.
In the MLS is Back Tournament organised for during the coronavirus pandemic, Beckham‘s side lost all three of their matches.
