The blood collection operation organized Thursday at the village hall of Bar-le-Duc did not meet the success expected by the organizers. 125 donors including five new came to the site during the day instead of the 170 expected. 101 people were nevertheless sampled: “The observed decrease reflects the results recorded everywhere. The holidays, the good weather returned and the freedom recovered after confinements and other curfews, brought back recklessness. The needs are however there, and even increasing ”, underlines the organization which highlights the current concerns of the persons in charge of the French Blood Establishment (EFS). A citizen remobilization of the Barisiens would certainly be necessary on the occasion of the next collection.
