Banjo player Winston Marshall leaves Mumford & Sons after political preference riot: “Want to protect group”

In March, Winston Marshall tweeted about the book “Unmasked” by American conservative journalist Andy Ngo. “Congratulations, Mr Andy Ngo. I finally had the time to read your important book. You are a brave man.” The tweet received a massive response.

Marshall was accused of being far-right for recommending a book that casts a bad light on the far-left movement Antifa. He eventually apologized and stopped his musical activities for a while. Those apologies sparked another storm of criticism.
