Baldur’s Gate III: Early Access will not take place in August

Through Twitter, Larian Studios announced a deadline for the implementation of the early access of its role-playing game Baldur’s Gate III. It must be said that the developer had foreseen the blow and had specified that the month of August was a “maybe” in June.

Fans of this series will not have to wait long before testing the third main opus. Larian Studios plans to announce the launch date during a live broadcast on August 18. This will be available on Twitch and YouTube.

Baldur’s Gate III marks the return of a franchise after 20 years of absence. The game will be powered by the Divinity 4.0 engine. The dialogues of this huge RPG total 1.5 million words. The game can be played both solo and co-op. The idea for Larian Studios is to create a authentic Dungeons & Dragons experience.

Baldur’s Gate III promises over 100 hours of gameplay, 15 classic Dungeons & Dragons races and subraces, 8 character classes, and multiple decisions decided by an on-screen die roll. The game is very close to Divinity Original Sin II, but count on a ton of evolutions to take the experience even further.
