A dramatic accident took place Thursday evening in Bagneux. While riding on a scooter, a 6-year-old boy was hit by a car in front of his mother and very seriously injured.
The accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m., at the corner of rue Blanchard and rue de Chartres, on the edge of the neighboring towns of Châtillon and Fontenay-aux-Roses. The child, who was traveling on the sidewalk, was struck by the car as he was crossing the roadway in rue de Chartres, on a pedestrian crossing.

The driver’s blood alcohol level negative
No trace of alcohol or narcotics was detected in the driver, a 30-year-old man, unknown to the police, who has all his points on his driver’s license.
Hit hard, the child, whose vital prognosis was committed at the time of his care by the emergency services, suffered from a severe head trauma, with a suspicion of internal bleeding. Plunged into a coma, he was transported in absolute urgency to Necker hospital, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.
