The vandals cut down the old walnut tree

Ludwigsburg (dpa / lsw) – Vandals have cut down an old walnut tree in Ludwigsburg. Passers-by noticed the downed tree on Saturday, police said on Sunday. A nearby park bench had also been damaged by an ax or hatchet. It was not known whether it was one or more authors. The damage amounts to about 10,000 euros. The police have launched an investigation and are asking witnesses to come forward.
