Back to classes: these are the schedules and channels for children and young people to see the subjects


This Monday, more than 30 million students return to classes in Mexico. Now it will not be face-to-face. The COVID-19 pandemic prompted federal authorities to design a strategy for students to take their courses online and through public and private television.

Mexico City, August 23 (However) .– The Secretary of Public Education (SEP) confirmed the schedules and channels where programs will be broadcast for 30 million 466 thousand 339 children and adolescents returning to school this August 24 for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Secretary of Education Esteban Moctezuma Barragan, explained that all the subjects of the “Back to School: Learn at Home II” program will be stored on the agency’s platform so that parents or guardians who could not follow the established schedules can take them up at the time they want.

Of the 30 million 466 thousand 339 children who return to online classes this August 24, 4 million 780 thousand 787 are from Preschool; 13 million 972 thousand 269 of Primary; 6 million 473 thousand 608 of Secondary, and 5 million 239 thousand 675 of Baccalaureate.

PRESCHOOL LEVEL

For Preschool students, classes will be broadcast by three options with different schedules:

–Option 1: It will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Once Niños and 5.2 of Televisa from 8 to 9 in the morning.
–Option 2: It will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 3 pm to 4 pm.
–Option 3: It will only be broadcast for students who live in Mexico City through channel 10.2 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Preschool education

PRIMARY EDUCATION

The Primary Education programs will be divided into three options with different schedules and channels:

First: In Option 1 it will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Once Niños and 5.2 of Televisa from 9 to 11:30 in the morning; Option 2 can be seen on TV Azteca 7.3 from 12 to 15:30; while Option 3 will only be available to students in Mexico City on channel 10.2 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Second: For this grade, Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Option 3 can only be seen in Mexico City through channel 10.2 from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Third: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 7:30 to 10 in the morning.

Fourth: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 9:30 to 12 in the afternoon.

Fifth: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 7:30 to 10 in the morning. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 12 to 15:30 hours.

Sixth: Option 1 will be broadcast on channels 11.2 of Eleven children and 5.2 of Televisa from 21 to 23:30 hours. Option 2 will be seen on the 7.3 of TV Azteca from 9:30 to 12 in the afternoon. Option 3 will be seen only in the capital of the country on channel 10.2 from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

Primary education

SECONDARY EDUCATION

For Secondary Education, the 6 million 473 thousand 608 students who return to classes on August 24 will be able to see the classes through two channels and schedules:

First: Option 1 and 2 will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 9:30 p.m. to 00:00 p.m., respectively.

Second: Option 1 and 2 will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., respectively.

Third: The Option will be broadcast on channel 3.2 of Imagen Televisión from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Option 2 will be seen on channel 6.3 of Milenio Televisión from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Secondary_Education

HIGH SCHOOL

For the 5 million 239 thousand 675 students of Higher Secondary Education who return to classes on August 24, the SEP detailed that there will be two options that will be broadcast on channels 22.1, 14.2 and 6.3.

Option 1 will air from 8 in the morning to 12 in the afternoon, while Option will be seen from 6 in the afternoon to 10 at night.

The Community Telebaccalaureate will be from 12 to 14 hours and from 22 to 00 hours.
