Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha hired international action director Stefan Richter for the upcoming Ayushmann Khurrana-starring film, Anek. Richter is known for his larger-than-life but realistic action choreography, evident in the action sequences he designed for Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson in the 2017 Hollywood thriller The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and for Shahrukh Khan at the 2011 Bollywood launch Don 2.
“Anek is the biggest movie of my career in terms of scale, and Anubhav Sinha leaves no stone unturned to bring audiences a great big screen experience with his vision. It is true that Stefan Richter has been caught in our movie. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and has been an architect of large-scale action films around the world, ”Ayushmann said, revealing the collaboration news along with an on-set image of Richter he posted.
