JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com– The feud of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama’s son or Ahok, Nicholas Sean with Ayu Thalia ended up at the green table.
Ayu Thalia is now a defendant in the defamation case of Nicholas Sean.
Nicholas’ feud with Ayu Thalia has reached an interim decision.
The reason is, the exception or defense note read by Ayu Thalia was rejected by the panel of judges at the North Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (31/5/2022).

The panel of judges considered that the public prosecutor’s indictment against Ayu Thalia had met the formal and material requirements.

Ayu Thalia’s tears
After listening to the judge’s decision, Ayu Thalia began to cry.
Occasionally he opened the mask and wiped away the tears.
After the hammer was tapped to mark the end of the trial, Ayu’s attorney, Pitra Romadhoni, then approached Ayu and tried to calm her down.
Ayu’s tears broke at that time.
His lawyer then took Ayu Thalia out of the courtroom.

Confess innocence
After leaving the courtroom, Ayu Thalia repeatedly said that she was innocent.
Therefore, Ayu was very disappointed to hear the decision between the panel of judges which rejected her defense memorandum.
“Disappointed, yes, I’m not wrong. All the people will also know later. I just ask for prayers and support,” Ayu said while sobbing when interviewed by the media crew.
“Thank you very much yesterday for the support, the moral support, thank you,” he continued.

Don’t want to apologize
Ayu Thalia again said that she was innocent.
The same thing was conveyed by Ayu’s attorney, Pitra Romadhoni.
According to Pitra, Ayu doesn’t want to apologize to Nicholas Sean until now because her client doesn’t feel guilty.
Therefore, Ayu Thalia continues to fight for and prove that she is truly innocent.

“I said where she (Ayu) went wrong. I don’t think there is a problem. Later we will reveal it in court. Please pray for it,” said Pitra.
“Since yesterday, he was asked to apologize. Why apologize for what he didn’t do? If he apologizes even though he didn’t do it, it means he’s right, he’s not wrong,” said Pitra.

This case began when Ayu Thalia reported Nicholas Sean to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Metro Police in August 2021 on suspicion of abuse.
At that time, Ayu Thalia claimed to have been abused by Nicholas Sean to cause physical injury.
However, Ayu Thalia’s report was stopped because it was considered unproven.
Nicholas Sean then reported back to Ayu Thalia for defamation.
Ayu Thalia was charged with Article 311 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 310 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
In the indictment, Ayu Thalia is alleged to have intentionally defamed Nicholas Sean after reporting Sean to the North Jakarta Penjaringan Metro Police.
Sean also felt aggrieved because Ayu’s narrative about the case was published in various reports in the mass media.
