In the spring of 2021, Lada Granta cars acquired the latest EnjoY Pro multimedia system, which was originally developed for the older Vesta and XRAY models. But in 2022, due to difficulties with the supply of imported components, this option disappeared from the price lists. Since then, Grants have only been equipped with a regular radio with a monochrome display, but now AVTOVAZ has announced the return of the EnjoY Pro media system to its most affordable model.
This head unit was developed jointly with Yandex and has a seven-inch screen with an IPS matrix. The media system uses the Android Automotive OS operating system, plus the Yandex Auto shell is installed by default, which works with branded online services: Navigator, Music, Gas Stations, Browser and the virtual assistant Alice. In addition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto protocols are supported. To access the global network, an external USB modem or Internet distribution via a smartphone is used. Thanks to this, application and firmware updates are available over the air.
The EnjoY Pro multimedia system is deeply integrated into the car’s electronic architecture, it displays images from the rear view camera and automatically turns off the sound when reversing. The returning option is included in the #Club package, which is available for the sedan and liftback. True, the branded price lists have not yet been updated, and they still list the #Club version with a regular audio system. Such Grants cost from 999,900 rubles.
