The first autobahn on the territory of Ukraine will soon appear in Kiev: read the details in this article
The fact that soon the first autobahn will appear in Kiev, reported Alexander Kurbakov, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine. The plans include the construction of the first autobahn in Ukraine in a year, and now the preparatory processes of the feasibility study are coming to an end.
According to Kurbakov, the project of the new autobahn will be approved within 2-3 months, after which preparations will begin for participation in the concession tender, which is scheduled for the second half of 2022, and if everything goes according to plan, construction will begin in the last months of next year.
The Minister of Infrastructure also mentioned the first toll road, which will be the Krakovets-Lvov-Brody-Rivne highway. As for the fare for this road section, it will be established on the basis of certain criteria characterizing transport and cargo transportation. However, as noted by Kurbakov, the toll highway will have a free analogue: the Lviv-Krakovets highway.
