Tesla has broken the lap record for electric cars at the Nürburgring with the Model S Plaid.

The Model S Plaid has set a new electric lap record at Germany’s famous Nürburgring. With a lap time of 7:30.909, the car is 12 seconds faster than the Porsche Taycan on the nearly 21-kilometer circuit. Tesla has a video of the round on YouTube.
