More than three months after the terrible accident of Jeremy Renner, the authorities have revealed the images filmed just after the tragedy. A video that proves in particular the violence of the accident.
A very violent accident. On January 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner was the victim of a terrible snowplow accident as he used it to free his car. Wanting to save his nephew, he slipped under the cabin of the machine before being seriously injured. Rushed to the hospital, the actor of Avengers suffered thirty broken bones, a punctured liver and a collapsed lung. He then had to undergo long weeks of rehabilitation.
And this Tuesday, April 18, the authorities havemade public images of the accident which nearly cost the life of Jeremy Renner. The video, filmed by a police camera, and revealed by the American media, shows the violence of the accident, which occurred in the Reno region, in Nevada (United States). In the images, we can discover the impressive groomer, who seriously injured the actor, lying on the side of a snowy road. Near a pool of blood, you can also see the rescuers fussing around the bruised body of Jeremy Renner.
Jeremy Reiner’s chilling account of his accident
In an interview with ABC on April 6, the 52-year-old actor confided in the accident. In particular, he revealed what he said when he slipped under the plow. “That’s when I screamed, ‘not today motherfucker’, when I went under the gear“, he said, before adding: “I was on asphalt and ice. It’s like someone took my breath away. There’s too much going on in the body to feel pain, that’s all. It’s like your soul can feel the pain.”
During this interview, Jeremy Renner also made a terrible confidence. He indeed revealed that his eye had come out of his face, and that he could “see one’s eye with the other eye“. Neighbors and friends also present on the day of the tragedy recounted a terrible and traumatic scene. “There was blood coming out of his ears. His eye looked like it had been punched out.”, said one of them. Despite everything, the actor assured that he had regained normal vision, even if the road to recovery still looks long.
