Autacor will install screens in Cordoba taxis integrated into the PideTaxi App
The Provincial Association of Autonomous Workers of Auto Taxis of Córdoba (Autacor) and a chain of supermarkets in the capital of Córdoba have reached an agreement to supply the taxis integrated in Pidetaxi Córdoba with protection screens.
This measure is in addition to others implemented, such as the disinfection of taxis before and after each service, in addition to the disinfectant gel for the user and the mandatory use of a mask.
Thanks to the contribution of Supermercados Deza and the installation of these screens, taxi drivers who are members of PideTaxi Córdoba, can return to work with all health guarantees.
The protective screens are made of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), an impact resistant material, widely used in the automotive industry, the size of which is adapted to each taxi.
The budget provided by the local supermarket chain has been 36,000 euros, which will benefit a total of 375 cars, which represents 75 percent of the taxi fleet in Córdoba.
