Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas, America’s Francis Thiafoe and Italy’s Janic Zinner reached the second round.
In the first match of the women’s round, Poland’s Iga Schwatek defeated Germany’s Julie Niemeyer 6-4, 7-5. Colombia’s Camila Osorio is the next opponent.
