For Railway Empire the DLC “Down Under” has been released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (7.99 euros). The expansion is the second visit to the southern hemisphere and takes place in the Australian outback. It is also the last DLC for Gaming Minds and Kalypso.
The DLC includes four areas (New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria), 52 new cities, three locomotives (Heisler (0-8-0), C30 (4-6-0) and Class S (4-6- 2)), several new goods such as canned beer as well as grilled seafood and the new settlement feature, which allows new cities to be established on the “down under map”. The DLC package also includes the new “Pioneering Spirit” scenario (1830 to 1930). The down-under card is playable outdoors and in model making mode.
