Attending the Inauguration of MU Changes in South Sulawesi, Tamsil Linrung Invites the Community to Join in Supporting AMIN

FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — A number of former Muhammadiyah student activists declared their support for Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.

They joined as volunteers for Millennials for Change (MU Change).

The inauguration of the South Sulawesi MU Change was held at the Sultan Alauddin Hotel, Jalan Sultan Alauddin, Makassar City, Sunday (24/12/2023) afternoon.

The inauguration was accompanied by a declaration of support for presidential candidate number one Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.

On that occasion, Beny Pramula, former Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Student Association DPP, was present. Beny Pramula was asked to become Chair of Millennials for Change (MU Change).

There is also Rahman, former Secretary General of IMM. Ustaz Abdul Shamad who is also a South Sulawesi Muhammadiyah figure. Chairman of MU South Sulawesi Irfan Surya. Former DPD RI senator with Muhammadiyah background, Iqbal Parewangi. Former Deputy Mayor of Makassar, Syamsu Rizal.
Tamsil Linrung was asked to be on the MU Change Advisory Board. There is also Ustaz Zaitun Rasmin.

In his speech, Tamsil Linrung invited the public to join in supporting AMIN through MU Change.

The MU Change volunteers will be ready to become independent witnesses who have been formed and will sleep at each polling station. This was done to reduce the potential for fraud in the 2024 election.

“If necessary, we will sleep at the polling stations to minimize cheating and so on,” said Tamsil Linrung.

“We invite all teams and volunteers to take the role of guarding the 2024 Election from the threat of fraud so that the election will be honest and fair,” continued Tamsil Linrung.

The former member of the DPR RI for three terms asked volunteers to monitor the progress of the democratic party up to the polling stations. This is to prevent fraud.
