44-year-old Georgi Nikolov, nicknamed Ushatia, is the person arrested for the bloody action that took place on Saturday night shortly after 9 pm in Pomorie. He stabbed 27-year-old Dimitar Prodromov, nicknamed Papitsa, who miraculously escaped.
The gangster scene took place over a damaged BMW car. Dimitar told two of his friends – 26 and 41 years old – that he doubts that their mutual acquaintance – Ushatia, damaged his personal car. The three went to the home of the 44-year-old man to ask him for an account, but were met by him. Papitsa jumped to hit him and chase him through the streets of Pomorie. In the area of the coastal street “P.K. Yavorov”, which at that time was full of tourists walking, managed to catch him. However, Ushatia pulled out a knife and plunged it straight into the chest of his victim.

According to Flagman.bg, the blade literally passed a millimeter from the victim’s heart. Police officers also came to the scene and arrested the attacker, despite his resistance.
“The stabbing at this location was not accidental. He purposefully drove the blade there to kill him. It’s good that the police came, the outcome would have been fatal,” said one of dozens of witnesses to the bloody drama on the promenade in Pomorie.
27-year-old Dimitar Prodromov
Georgi Ushatia is a former prisoner. He was soon released and since then worked as a general construction worker in Burgas. He and Papitsa, according to unconfirmed information, had arguments before. 27-year-old Dimitar was also conflicted, sources from Pomorie revealed. Just a few days ago, he had a fight with another in the Neron gambling hall in Pomorie.
The prosecutor’s office announced that Georgi Nikolov has been charged with attempted murder. The prosecutor’s office has extended his arrest for 72 hours, and his remand order is expected to be heard tomorrow.
