After a 22-year-old woman on Stefan-Zweig-Strasse (Bramfeld) was attacked with a knife and seriously injured on October 29, the Hamburg police have now published a photo of the alleged perpetrator: the victim’s 26-year-old partner, Oussama Y., is said to have fled over the roof of the apartment building around 9 p.m. and undressed.
“Shortly after the crime, he was seen in the area of August-Krogmann-Strasse in a completely undressed state,” said a police spokeswoman about the crime on October 29. “Since then, the man has gone into hiding.”

The Hamburg public prosecutor’s office, in cooperation with the homicide commission, has now obtained a public search decision from the responsible investigating judge. The photo shows the man – narrow face, distinctive nose, dark hair, dark complexion – in a portrait. “The search for him continues,” said the spokeswoman.

The 22-year-old was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the crime. The background to the dispute is not known. The police asked witnesses who have information about Oussama Y. or his whereabouts to report immediately. Information under Tel. 428 65 67 89. (dg)
